ain't a fairytale. . . .

We live to learn, and learn to live.... Life is not a fairytale, nor a princess story... Even after thousand times been deceived.. The greatest point is where we able to stand up from fallen apart...

WorLd AIDS dAy
Stop AIDS. Keep the Promise - Lead - Empower - Deliver

today..1st December is the World Aids Day of 2008..i actually didn't realize it until when i checked my email n saw the ad on Yahoo! screen. Some of us don't aware about what is Aids n so this campaign is held."Stop AIDS. Keep the Promise - Lead - Empower - Deliver" is the theme for year 2008.
Aids has led to the deaths of more than 25 million people since it was first recognized in 1981, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history. The number of people living with HIV continues to rise in most parts of the world, despite strenuous prevention strategies.Sub-Saharan Africa remains the hardest-hit region, with an estimated 22.5 million people living with HIV at the end of 2007, 68% of the global total.Several key facts surrounding the origin of HIV/AIDS are currently unknown, particularly where and when the pandemic began, though it is thought that HIV originated in chimpanzees.

And enough with the facts about HIV/AIDS,now the story of this campaign, started early on the year of 1988.WHO declared December 1, 1988 as the first World AIDS Day. The United Nations General Assembly formally recognized the event in October 1988.Since then, the event has been taken up by governments, international organizations and charities around the world. In 2004, the World AIDS Campaign became an independent organization (this the part shows the reason i like!). World AIDS Day is about raising money, increasing awareness, fighting prejudice and improving education. World AIDS Day is important in reminding people that HIV has not gone away, and that there are many things still to be done....

People out there, maybe wondering what is/are the way(s) to support this World AIDS day, so here i stated a few of them :
  1. Wear a red ribbon and sell red ribbons to friends, colleagues, anyone you can think of.
  2. Join the World AIDS Day campaign to get every MP wearing a red ribbon.
  3. Participate the Bloggers Unite on every 1st December..---> http://unite.blogcatalog.com/
  4. Join any campaign on the way to stop the AIDS from spreading or any campaign to prevent the HIV/AIDS.
  5. Tell your family, friends or even your foe,how dangerous the HIV and how the viruses can be the murderer.
  6. Help people with AIDS/HIV by giving them support n anything that show them how care we are of them n let they think that they are still "one" of us,no barrier exist.
  7. Donate to some of the AIDS/HIV foundation (as your donation can help to cure the HIV patients)
  8. A named Red Ribbon Fund can help you and your friends and family join together to pay tribute to the person you loved ---> http://tht.tributefunds.com/

haPpY buRfday aYah....

the cake, we bought for ayah from Secret Recipe...Carrot Brownies,RM60++

Especially dedicated to my beloved 'ayah' (daddy), Mr. Khamsah...

But this morning was a lil bit funny story tough..Woke up not really 'early'- 10 o'clock in the morning without realizing what date was this morning..and after shower suddenly my elder sis, (below me..17 this year, seating for SPM) remind me,

" hey,u know right what day's today?"
"ya..i know,sunday.." with so what-nothing big matter-face straighly n sharpen my view on her
"it's "ayah's" birthday, cruel evil"
owh..gosh!almost forgot......not!...forgot already...
Yup..today is my dad's birthday. And i woke up late on his special day. What a 'nice' daughter..Suppose i did something special, something like treatment,or give him one day-coupon for spa but that's really need money.....~sigh~man..money talks nowadays..
then i just came out with letting him resting n takin whole day-break without doing nothing...except for the breakfast that he did when i was sleeping..woahh..

What actually make today was so special is, the breakfast that ayah made. For long time we haven't eat ayah's handmade Bolognese n today what a marvelous n delicious spaghetti i had had!...Thankyou ayah!

This is what he said when we kissed him wishing Happy Birthday, "Supposed today i just lay down on bed, relaxing while watching my fav AXN/HBO/ESPN etc. n u guys did breakfast for me..but i was the 1st person woke up this morning instead.."

and all we could do was just grinning.......=P =) =D

Petrosains,Suria KLCC, K.Lumpur, Malaysia

One of the attraction in Kuala Lumpur..located in Suria KLCC,at the center of Kuala Lumpur. Can describe as modern museum and discovery center about earth, from before the age of dinasour till now. Mainly exhibit about petroleum, how human life changes with the discovery of petroleum,n all about sciences..Our travel to petrosains was not in coincidence n not in the 1st place as we planned to watch movie n reach for aquaria.Madagascar 2 was our 1st aim but..well..with the crowded people here n there, out of the cinema bout 3 o'clock n petrosains close at 6p.m.Rushing to aquaria, only to find it close at 4.~~sigh~~ so,went for petrosains n luckily the last ticket was for 4 p.m entry. Stood for about 45minutes, waiting to be in the tunnel which we were traveled by a black-round-front uncovered vehicle through it. But seems we went on weekdays+skool holiday so,the all-access tickets were sold. That make us could explore all except the "heli-simulation" which will take you to a simulated ride on a helicopter as you go through storm and land on an oil platform. But we were thinking that we are old enuff for such riding(tried harder not to mention about ages though).

but most of all i juz loooovvvedd to be at the oil platform. i do dream about being an engineer, working at the Petronas oil platform but all dreams were just dreams~~sigh~~so i just had a chance to experience the surrounding. Not bad though.Being a chemist doesn't mean you cannot be as best as chemical engineer right??..(y the sudden of counselling session here...) I'll make my dream come true by being a chemist or something related that could make my way clear for finding job at Petronas =D =D
