ain't a fairytale. . . .

We live to learn, and learn to live.... Life is not a fairytale, nor a princess story... Even after thousand times been deceived.. The greatest point is where we able to stand up from fallen apart...

WorLd AIDS dAy
Stop AIDS. Keep the Promise - Lead - Empower - Deliver

today..1st December is the World Aids Day of 2008..i actually didn't realize it until when i checked my email n saw the ad on Yahoo! screen. Some of us don't aware about what is Aids n so this campaign is held."Stop AIDS. Keep the Promise - Lead - Empower - Deliver" is the theme for year 2008.
Aids has led to the deaths of more than 25 million people since it was first recognized in 1981, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history. The number of people living with HIV continues to rise in most parts of the world, despite strenuous prevention strategies.Sub-Saharan Africa remains the hardest-hit region, with an estimated 22.5 million people living with HIV at the end of 2007, 68% of the global total.Several key facts surrounding the origin of HIV/AIDS are currently unknown, particularly where and when the pandemic began, though it is thought that HIV originated in chimpanzees.

And enough with the facts about HIV/AIDS,now the story of this campaign, started early on the year of 1988.WHO declared December 1, 1988 as the first World AIDS Day. The United Nations General Assembly formally recognized the event in October 1988.Since then, the event has been taken up by governments, international organizations and charities around the world. In 2004, the World AIDS Campaign became an independent organization (this the part shows the reason i like!). World AIDS Day is about raising money, increasing awareness, fighting prejudice and improving education. World AIDS Day is important in reminding people that HIV has not gone away, and that there are many things still to be done....

People out there, maybe wondering what is/are the way(s) to support this World AIDS day, so here i stated a few of them :
